That is the truly awful mustang II. Yes, it had the Mustang nameplate, but it was not in any way a real mustang. This was a pandermobile of the worst kind. It was essentially a Pinto in a fancy dress. Abysmal car and the Mustang was gone during these years. So, not really in continuous production.
