Saw your column re; survival hints for children, and noticed the instructions on learning "How to call 911". I was a call-taker / radio dispatcher for my local sheriff's office (retired now) since before there there WAS such a thing a as 911. Excellent advice. Parents ! Maybe your local law enforcement responsible for such already has, or would put together, such a class. (Unfortunately, half of adults would also benefit). Thanks.
