No matter where you live, running a household and adhering to a budget can be difficult at times. But Las Vegas residents pay less than those in other parts of the country, according to the Intuit Spending Index.
When monthly household expenditures from groceries to education to laundry and other needs were taken into account, Las Vegas came in as the least expensive city for households, with an average spend of $544.81 monthly, the report concluded. Austin was among the most expensive, at $877.74 per month.
